High Altitude Mountain Worker Welfare (HAMWWA) is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization registers in 2007.
The organization has been providing possible support to the poor, helpless, disabled persons and also to those who have lost their family members and relatives caused by sickness, accident and other kinds of risks while performing their works.
HAMWWA provides humanitarian supports to the needy, helpless and poor children of mountainous districts as well and supports victims of natural calamities in mountainous region.
Our expedition director, Mr. Dawa, serves as the founder and current president of HAMWWA. His unwavering dedication to social work has led Expedition Himalaya to become an integral part of this impactful societal endeavor for sustainability. We firmly believe in the power of small efforts, and your participation in our adventure will also contribute to those in need through HAMWWA. We allocate 5% of the proceeds from each trip to fund HAMWWA, aiding in the education of mountain children. Joining us isn’t just an adventure; it’s a chance to make a meaningful difference.
