Dawa’s journey in the world of trekking began in his childhood, where his passion for the mountains and the trails was sparked. Starting as a long-time cook and later transitioning into a guide for Mountain Travel, Dawa’s experience has been deeply rooted in the Himalayan terrain. Over the years, he has achieved remarkable feats, including multiple ascents of Everest and other 8000-meter peaks.

Currently serving as the Expedition Director at Expedition Himalaya, Dawa brings a wealth of knowledge, a can-do attitude, and a gentle yet intelligent approach to his role. His warmth, kindness, and infectious enthusiasm have endeared him to numerous trekkers worldwide.Dawa’s philosophy reflects his resilient spirit; whether facing challenges or reveling in good times, laughter is the key.
